Eurobest announces new Creative B2B Award
15 August 2024
Submissions for the 37th Eurobest Awards open
Eurobest, celebrating Europe’s most groundbreaking creativity, has announced today that the Awards are open for entries, in addition to revealing a refresh to its Awards.
New for 2024, the Creative B2B Eurobest Award celebrates game-changing creativity and effectiveness for products, propositions, services, solutions or experiences whose primary buyer is a business decision-maker or group of decision-makers/buyers who make purchases/transactions on behalf of other businesses. Entrants will need to demonstrate both short-term tactics and long-term brand-building strategies that connect with customers, improve brand health and ultimately drive growth.
Following on from the success of the introduction of the Humour category at Cannes Lions this year, entrants will be able to enter comedic work in a specific category as part of the cultural and context sections, to celebrate the art of humour in branded communications. In addition to evolving its entry process to focus on areas of Sustainability, DE&I and Cultural Context, other changes include a refresh to the Innovation Eurobest Award, expanding its offering to encompass a broader spectrum of innovation, a refresh to the PR Eurobest Award to accurately reflect the current PR industry and a refresh to the Social & Influencer Award to recognise and celebrate the pivotal role that creators play in shaping and amplifying brand messages.
Marian Brannelly, Global Director of Awards, LIONS, said: “It’s an exciting time for creativity in Europe, which is reflected across the evolution of our Awards, including the brand new Creative B2B Award. Following on from Europe’s success at Cannes Lions this year in B2B, this is an apt time to introduce this Award and shine a spotlight on creative work in this space. We’re looking forward to celebrating the region’s best creative work that will not only set the industry standard, but propel it forward.”
For the first time, the CMO Growth Council, a joint initiative between LIONS and the ANA, will convene in London on 14 November 2024 during Eurobest. Hosted by the CMO Growth Council Insight Partner, Bloomberg Media, the roundtable discussion will host senior marketers from global and local brands to share insights to accelerate business growth, and the working principles to successfully navigate the evolving media landscape. The collective contributions from this session will contribute to a set of playbooks, roadmaps and actions that will be presented at the global CMO Growth Council meeting at Cannes Lions 2025.
Entries into Eurobest are being accepted until Thursday 17 October 2024 and registration into the Eurobest Young Creatives competition will open on Monday 9 September 2024. Further information on the Awards can be found at www.eurobest.com.
