Sandra Alvarez is a prominent leader in the media and communications industry, currently serving as Board Director at Core, Ireland's largest communications company. She manages a large, diverse team of media specialists who have been recognized as the No. 1 media agency in Ireland for over ten consecutive years and were recently named Media Agency of the Year in 2024. Core is also ranked as the most effective company in Ireland and currently holds a spot in the country's top ten best companies to work for, being the only communications company awarded Gold in Investors in Diversity.

Throughout her career, Sandra has worked with global brands such as Mondelez, Procter & Gamble, Meta, and KFC, as well as Irish organizations like the Road Safety Authority and the HSE. She has won over fifty media awards for the best use of media, creative media solutions, and brand effectiveness.

As a judge, Sandra has contributed to prestigious global and European panels, including the Global Effies, and has also served as a board member of the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland. Sandra holds a Master’s in Advertising from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
