Biography
Hermeti Balarin is the Chief Creative Officer of Wieden+Kennedy London, alongside his creative and life partner, Ana Balarin. They were previously the CCOs of W+K headquarters in Portland, Oregon, and Executive Creative Directors and Partners of Mother London.
Hermeti began his career at Mother London as a creative placement, and eight years later, he and Ana became Mother’s first-ever Executive Creative Directors. Hermeti has created culturally provocative and multi-award-winning ideas for some of the world’s biggest brands, such as ‘FCK’ ad for KFC, ‘Rang Tan’ for Greenpeace, and IKEA’s first-ever Christmas ad in the U.K., ‘Silence the Critics."
More recently, Supercell’s fake 40th-anniversary campaign, ‘Clash from the Past,’ launched under his and Ana's leadership as CCOs of Wieden+Kennedy Portland and earned two Grand Prix wins at Cannes Lions 2023.
Beyond advertising, Hermeti's creative pursuits include exhibitions at the London Design Museum and contributions to acclaimed documentaries like ‘The Good Fight’ at the Tribeca Film Festival and ‘Careful How You Go,’ a Sundance-nominated short drama.
